Galatians 1:10 "For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ."This scripture came to mind when I heard about cathedrals in Rome. These buildings would have the finest
detail, perfectly hand made all the way to the roof. Now as you know no one can see that far up and so the question was, why go through all that trouble to create detail that cannot be appreciated by man? Their answer was simple: "We built this for God and and not for man. God sees everything." This really struck me because no matter the trouble they had to go through... everything was done for God and to His standards. They were seeking God's glory and that alone. Man's opinion didn't matter to these passionate people.
Revelation: “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, "to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”Now the question is, does God really receive the glory in everything we do? We live for God and God alone... isn't it time we act like it? We are the Children of the most High and no one knows God's heart better than His own Children. How about starting to seek the Glory of God in every opportunity we have. Let's glorify our Creator in every step we take and in every action! If it calls for diligence, let's be diligent. If it calls for patience let's be patient. No matter what is required... we live for God and God alone.
