Identity Crisis
Love
and Grace is His being
Happiness
this wonderful feeling
That
we so solemnly swear to share
As
Christians we dare this world
To
try and matchup to His Word
Because
we know failure is a certainty
God
is The Ultimate
This
much is true
But
inside the church is turned
Within
Its own set of blues
It
seems that our handed Authority
Is
no longer seen as a morality
-and
offering
is
just another money-making scheme
we
deny the modern age is miracles
apparently
the world is to much a spectacle
they
say what we need
is
less mercy and more deeds
Tongues
is no longer important
And
drunkenness is only sorted
To
those who use alcohol to get them there
A
lot might be said of this problem
But
just like in Sodom
People
don’t truly understand
God
and His steadfast band.

Our Source of Strength
Today our theme is joy... so enJOY!
Nehemiah 8:10 "Then he said to them, “Go your way. Eat the fat and drink sweet wine and send portions to anyone who has nothing ready, for this day is holy to our Lord. And do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”I find it interesting that first of all, this is not a question. Nehemiah didn't ask the Israelites to please not be grieved but he gave them a command. This is in the context where the people heard the law and saw their shortcomings. God's reply to them however in the previous verse was to rejoice because this day is the day of the Lord; a Holy day. We read a similar verse in Psalms
Psalm 118:24 "This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."Once again we read that this is not a question but a direct command.
Philippians 4:4 "Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice."We hear in the verse in Nehemiah that "the joy of the Lord is your strength" Now God's people heard this when they were facing a major problem. This is the key. When you look at your problems its easy to feel disrepair and guilt. We so often pray for strength and energy to make it through but the key element is to focus on God, find pleasure in Him because rejoicing in our savior is where our true strength lies.

Godly Lifestyle
2 Peter 1:3 "His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence"This scripture focuses on the knowledge of God; our creator and savior. The scripture goes on in verse 4
"...so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire."So here we can see how fundamental is it to really know this God we salute as King. See, His power and grace gave us everything we need to have a full, successful and godly life. In this He gave us all the promises and plans He has for us. The key to this lifestyle however is to know God. We have to turn our focus to Him and get o know Him more. This is all about a relationship between us and God and that is called Christianity!
What does it mean to be drenched in Proverbs 31?
Proverbs31 NLT
V10: Who can find a virtuous and capable wife? She is more precious
than rubies.
Women should not make themselves cheap by conforming to this world
but be set apart as rubies are set apart from the dirt.
V11a: Her husband can trust her,
A woman should be someone who can be trusted and he can use her as
support.
V11b: and she will greatly enrich his life.
If a man is strengthened at
home with healthy relationships he will excel at his work.
V12: She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life
Don’t be unfaithful. Don’t let there ever be something negative that
someone can say about you.
V13: She finds wool and flax and busily spins it.
Take on every day duties with a joyful heart
V14: She is like a merchant’s ship bringing her food from afar.
Have good friends that can support you and by which you can learn
from and have fellowship with.
V15: She gets up before dawn to prepare breakfast for her household
and plan the day’s work for her servant girls.
You are a princes, the daughter of the KING, but do not see yourself
on a higher status as those close to you. Treat others with respect and be
Jesus to the world
V16: She goes to inspect a field and buys it; with her earnings she
plants a vineyard.
Decide carefully where you spend the most time so that when you reap
what you have sown that you can be proud of the fruit
V17: She is energetic and strong, a hard worker.
Be anxious to work and willing to help
V18: She makes sure her dealings are profitable her lamp burns late
into the night.
Plan ahead make sure what you do will be a success don’t grow weak
always be a light in the dark.
V19: Her hand are busy spinning thread, her fingers twisting fibre.
Keep busy with the important things and do that good.
V20: She extends a helping hand to the poor and opens her arms to
the needy.
Don’t be fooled by what you see but be lead by the Spirit. The poor don’t necessarily mean poor with
money, it can also mean that people are poor in Spirit and don’t know Jesus.
V21: She doesn’t worry about her family when it snows; their winter
clothes are all mended and ready to wear.
When trouble times comes your way the foundations should be lain so
that you do not weary in the storm.
V23-24: Her husband is well known at the city gates, where he sits
with the other civic leaders. She makes belted linen garments and sashes to
sell to the merchants
V25:She is clothed with strength and dignity and she laughs without
fear of the future.
Know where your strength comes from and do not fear because the
battle is already won by Jesus Christ
V26: When she speaks her words are wise, and she gives instructions
with kindness
Don’t brag about what you have achieved but give glory to Jesus.
Allow Jesus to speak through you.
V27: She carefully watches everything in her household and suffers
nothing from laziness.
Be attendant to your family
above all else they always come first
V28: Her children stand and bless he; her husband praises he.
Be someone your husband and kids can be proud of.
V29: “there are many virtuous and capable women /in the world but
you surpass all of them!”
Be the best you for your husband and kids.
V30: Charm is deceptive and beauty does not last; but a woman who
fears the Lord will be greatly praised
Don’t seek praises and reward but give glory to God.
V31: Reward her for all she has done; Let her deeds publicly declare
her praises
Every man should treat his wife as Jesus treats his church, but the
wife must be as Proverbs 31 describes.
It will be more pleasing to the husband to treat you as a princes.
Together you are a team each one should give 100% of him/herself to have the
perfect relationship as God intended.

Trust His Promises
35 That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” 36 Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. 37 A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped.38 Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?”
39 He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.
40 He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”
41 They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”
Read this story closely! Firstly... there were other boats besides the one Jesus was in. When the storm arose we read that the disciples woke Jesus telling Him they are about to die... they didn't tell Him there was a storm. This is the critical part because in the beginning of this verse Jesus said: "Let us go over to the other side." He never said there won't be a storm during the trip but He clearly stated that they would survive the journey.
As Christians we believe that nothing will go wrong as long as Jesus is in our boat. Problem is when troubles hit we then loose faith because our expectations weren't met! But God never said that there won't be any problems... He did state however that He makes everything work together for our good.
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
This is God's promise towards us. Believe and trust His words! Keep Faith!!

His Life
Galatians 2:20 "I have been crucified with the Anointed One, I am no longer alive, but the Anointed is living in me; and whatever life I have left in this failing body I live by the faithfulness of God's Son, the One who loves me and gave His body on the cross for me."
We easily go about our daily lives, stressing and trying to make ends meet, the difference however is that we don't have our existence anymore. It is God's life and we are simply the instruments. Colossians 3:2 says " Set your mind and keep it set on things above..." Our daily stress and anxiety is all for nothing and in vain. Keep your focus on the source of your life! God's Got It!

Matthew 6:33 "Seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you."
Also, Matthew talks about hos God cares for the birds in the air and yet they can be sold for very cheap. Now if God looks after these little birds, how much more you and me! Let God be your source!
Respecting Grace
1 Corinthians 10:1 "I wouldn't want you to be ignorant of your history, brothers and sisters. Our ancestors were once safeguarded under a miraculous cloud in the wilderness and brought safely through the sea."
Paul as an in interesting point. I always said that history is in the past and that it should be ignored completely since it can't be changed. Fact of the matter is we tend to get arrogant to wards grace. Do you still remember all the miracles God has done for you? Can you remember how God brought you to repentance? Or can you remember in what mess you sat right before God pulled you out of it? Lets not moan, and complain. Lets not turn back to our vomit! God gave us grace... lets not be arrogant about it! After all... if we got what we deserved we would be in hell already.
1 Peter 1:16 "For the scripture says, you are to be Holy , for I am holy."

Inspirational Stories
A rich investor lost his wife during birth of his son. His entire life his son was his everything. They would spend as much time together as possible going fishing every Sunday and seeing the world whenever school holidays were on. One day, on his way home from school the investors son saw a little boy's foot stuck in some train tracks with a train approaching. He ran to the little boy's aid just in time to save his life but lost his in the process. In commemoration of his son and with a heavy heart the investor had a local artist paint a picture of his late son. After some years the investor passed away himself. His will stated that all his belongings was to be sold on an auction since he had no heir. Alot of the neighborhood's people showed up as the man has very valuable possessions. The first to be auctioned was this particular painting of the late house owners son and so no one wanted to bid on it. The simple explanation was... what would we want to do with a painting of another man's son? The housekeeper however had a close relationship with this son and so she said she will take the painting yet all she had was $5. The bid was closed and she received the painting for only $5. At that stage the auctioned closed. People was raging mad and asked why. The auctioneer simply said that the will stated; the one who buys my son... also gets the rest of my belongings!
Here we see a classic story n the same manner. Jesus says, I am the way, the truth and the life. If you don't accept the son, you are rejecting the entire offer.

You choose!
We have a choice in whatever we do! free will is a gift from God. Matthew 8:13 "And Jesus said to the centurion, "Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed." And the servant was healed that very moment." How many times do we see a problem as a mountain in front of us. Maybe this mountain is a belief that has been planted in us by a teacher or friend or even family member. Jesus healed a man because the man believed... It was to the man as he believed!
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
It is time to believe the we can, that success is our portion. Believe in yourself... God sure does!

FATHER, I WANTED A CAR, NOT A BIBLE
A young man was getting ready to graduate from college. For many months he
had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealers showroom,
and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he
wanted.
As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his
father had purchased the car. Finally, on the morning of his
graduation, his father called him into his private study, told him how
proud he was to have such a fine son, and how much he loved him. He handed
him a beautifully wrapped gift box.
Curious, but somewhat disappointed, the young man opened the box and
found a lovely, leather-bound Bible, with his name embossed
in gold.
Angrily, he raised his voice to his father and said,"With all your money
you give me a Bible?" He stormed out of the house, leaving the Bible behind.
Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business. He had
a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very
old. He thought perhaps he should go to him.He had not seen him since that
graduation day.
But before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him
his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to
him. He needed to come home immediately and take care of things.
When he arrived at his father's house, sadness and regret filled his heart.
He began to search through his father's important documents
and saw the Bible, new, just as he had left it years ago.
With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. His father had
carefully underlined a verse, Matt 7:11,
"And if ye, being evil, know
how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly
Father which is in Heaven, give to those who ask Him?"
As he read those words, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible. It had
a tag with the dealers name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had
desired.
On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words...

Life’s Painting
This image
I’ve learned to love
Was
pitchblack and motionless
Framed by
Your love, grace and majesty
I titled it
life and lived by this tragedy
I found it
rather strange
That You
would decorate this page
Yet never
stepped forward to give my opinion
On what I
thought was Your proposition
Truthfull
as You are
You opened
my heart
Rolled up
my blindes

brilliance came to mind
Now this

Is one of

The Bloodline
The
Bloodline
If we look at bloodline we can easily say that
were you come from is what gives you your identity. The medical world calls it genes and it is
carried over from generation to generation.
Usually it is in terms of diseases like high blood pressure or cholesterol
or bad eye sight. It gets carried over
from generation to generation and there is nothing that medical practitioners
can do to prevent you from getting it.
Of course there are also characteristic trades like the shape of your
nose or mouth. The build you have or
your length. These are all things by
which people can see and connect you to a group of people called your
family. Once you know from what family
you come from you know what your limits are and what you are good at. So it is quite important to know this. So from a Christian point we need to know that
we no longer have a natural bloodline.
We are now heirs of God like Romans
8:15b says: …but ye have received
the Spirit of adoption whereby we cry, Abba, Father.”. We are now in God’s bloodline and therefore
we have the same character trades as He has.
Jesus goes as far as to say that the same miracles He did and even
greater is laid up for us. But none of
this can be used or accessed if we do not know where we come from and who our
Father is. Once we understand that we
are God;s sons, we can step out and be the heirs and sons we have been
predestined to be.

SALVATION
ON A PLATTER
A God so true in love we have
That took away our disbelieve
He gave us Grace to marvel on
And Joy to be our strength
This twisted world misunderstood it
all
And gave away their hearts
To pharaohs, allah’s, buddah’s and
pests
Never to reclaim their Life
Yet through it all God speaks to us
For whoever thus might listen
The people he so dearly love
Is still to carry His name
A heavy burden some may say
To some as light as Heaven
This Love He gave is freely though
Salvation on a platter.

Trust
Trust
Provebs 3:5-6
Provebs 3:5-6:Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him, and he wil make your paths straight..
Provebs 3:5-6:Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him, and he wil make your paths straight..
TRUST IN THE LORD the Bible says that those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion they shall not be shaken and that the Lord will surround with His presence, when you trust someone you simply rely in who they are simply meaning that you dwell with them and dine together pouring out your heart. Its says lean not on your own understanding mean dont rely on what you think about yourself but rely on what God thinks of you.
In all that you do acknowledge God meaning that you live in the knowledge of who He is to you.Going back to sonship if I know my identity I will just always be in the house and not a friend of God but a son therefore I can have whatsoever so I now lean on God and not on my own strength or knowledge to what I think I know is best..... not to forget that the son is always in the house and if I am in the house I have whatever I ask from God.

BE COURAGEAOUS
Courage
Joshua 1:9 "This is my commander strong and courageous. Never be afraid or discouraged because I am your God, the Eternal One, and I will remain with you wherever you go."
These are powerful words. God never asked Joshua to try and be strong and courageous.... He told him. It was a direct command. The interesting thing however is the word discourage. It points to a lack of courage. The question is, if this was God's command... obviously it has to be possible to just not be a afraid or without courage! Same goes for Moses in Deuteronomy 31:6 where God gave him the same command.
Think about this. To steadfastly know be courageous and stand your ground without fear you need to be sure of what you believe and who your Source and Shield is. This goes to say that the more we spend time with the Father the better we will get to know His heart and so its a lot easier to act on a direct order like the one mentioned above. Its so simple... know that God is the one that goes before you, stands behind you, keeps watch above you, guides your path beneath you and wraps you in His protection. There is absolutely nothing to fear... just BE COURAGEOUS!

Freedom
Galatians 4: 5;To purchase the freedom of (to ransom, to redeem, to [a]atone for) those who were subject to the Law, that we might be adopted and have sonship conferred upon us [and be recognized as God's sons].6;And because you [really] are [His] sons, God has sent the [[b]Holy] Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, Abba (Father)! Father!7;Therefore, you are no longer a slave (bond servant) but a son; and if a son, then [it follows that you are] an heir [c]by the aid of God, through Christ.8;But at that previous time, when you had not come to be acquainted with and understand and know the true God, you [Gentiles] were in bondage to gods who by their very nature could not be gods at all [gods that really did not exist]. . . STOP BEING SLAVES TO BONDAGE(GUILT, SIN, TRANSGRESSION) THAT DOESNT EXIST NO MORE . . THROUGH JESUS ON THE CROSS BROUGHT EXISTENCE OF FREEDOM THAT IS ETERNAL BY GRACE CALLING US HIS SON'S . . STOP CRYING OUT AND ASK AND JUST RECEIVE AND KNOW YOU ARE IN HIS FULLNESS OF BLESSINGS !!! I DECREE AND DECLARE MINDS AND HEARTS SET FREE IN JESUS NAME !!!

Focus
Romans 8 is a Bible verse we all know all too well. In my case, I usually stopped at verse 1 where it says "There is therefore now no condemnation to those that are in Christ Jesus. That walks not after the flesh but after the Spirit." The question is how do I walk after the flesh or after the Spirit. Verse 5-8 gives us a clear answer and quite a shocking one as well. It speaks of our minds and what it is focused on. Think of the things we know in this world... our day to day lives... see, if you are focused on that stress, anxiety, pressure, frustration and a feeling of hopelessness is soon to get a grip on your throat. What you want to do or need to do the next day isn't wrong... but meditating on these things will make you lose focus. We read in the gospels how Jesus commanded Peter to come to him... by walking on the water. Now while Peter's focus was on Jesus he walked on water as if on solid ground. But as soon as he saw the storm around him he sank. Keeping our thoughts set on what is above is a key to a stress free and frustration free life. In fact...in Romans 8 verse 7 says that having a mind set on fleshly things is declaring war against God! trust in and rely on God and He will fill every need...
“If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.” Colossians 3:1–4
Hosting the King
I saw a movie the other day, most of you might recognize this scene; the movie is in the backdrop of slavery in the USA. So understand when I say when this man walked up to a slave, bought him and then made him his equal business colleague. Now this was unheard of and whenever he visited anyone they would speak up against what they saw as madness. The buyer of this ex-slave just always had the same response "he is a free man and his freedom was bought by me, so he is to be treated as an extension of myself." This got me thinking that since God bought our freedom with Christ's blood... how are we treating one another? I mean... Christ died for every single person out there. We are made free by His blood. Which means we should all be treated as an extension of God Himself. Matthew 25:40 "The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.' Now that says it all! How do we treat those around us... would you treat God the same way you treat your fellow man?? and if not... we definitely need to change our ways!
Too Many Shoulds....
"Should a Christian have tattoos... Should a Christian wear makeup... Should a Christian drink...
Should a Christian wear jewellery...
Should, Should, Should, Should... come on people what are you busy with? The devil is toying with you. It's about loving God - full stop.
Don't you think God is capable of dealing with the rest? Besides God looks at you spirit man and in His eyes if you're born again your spirit man is perfect. Stop your endless debates about nonsense, keeping yourselves out of the game and accomplishing nothing. GET BUSY LOVEING GOD and spread the gospel ( good news )."

These are frequently asked questions that mostly... just ends in a debate where love and patience flies out the door. It has always been believed that you can find every and all direct answers in the Bible... Now I am sure you can probably twist anything so that it sounds the way you want it to sound. Fact of the matter is the Bible is a book about God's relationship with man. It doesn't consist of do's and dont's! Instead focus on your relationship with God and serving Him... let the spirit reveal and do the rest. Remember that God works with your heart and the intentions behind your actions... not the actions themselves.
