Now we know that we have been made righteous by the love of Christ and that we are holy and sanctified. We know that the Bible sate we are made perfect and that we are blameless in the sight of God. We also know that life everlasting is our portion and that death has no hold... that nothing is impossible and that through God we have no limits.
Funny enough we read in 1 Corinthians 9 the following:
1 Corinthians 9:27 "But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified."Now since we are all of the things Christ says we are... how can we disqualify ourselves. What was the meaning behind this statement Paul made? See God has set us free, but that still didn't give us the right to do as we please.
We are His image in the world and not only that but if we do not pick life in every choice we make... death is infecting us.
1 Corinthians 9:25-26 "Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. 26 So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air."I saw a musical production on a twisted story about Alice in wonderland. Now the cat in this story has a shadow with its own mind. The shadow would do whatever it pleased and was never in sync with the cat itself. When the cat was thrown into jail... the shadow was still outside the prison bars and danced as usul... but she could not leave prison or go any further since she was only limited to the cats's surroundings. This is the same with us. God has set us free and there is no more limits so do not let your body or choices limit you. Choose life always!
