The movement

1 Corinthians 12:27 "Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it."
So many times we hear that people see pastors as God's elect and the rest are just as servants... where did this mentality come from?  God made man in His image and gave him authority over all of creation.  So let's face it, we are in God's service!  Everything we do we do for him.  And everyone is called to something different.
1 Corinthians 12:14-15 "For the body does not consist of one member but of many. If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body."
God has given every human being a different talent and character to fit his or her calling.  It is high time we start doing what we are called for.  Some people are called to be business men and woman, others to be teachers, some to be doctors or social workers.  The difference is each person should not be ignorant of their calling or think of it less than the person next to you!  If God called you to sweep the streets then do that to the best of your ability... because the one sweeping street should keep the road clean so that the road is safe and do not cause death to motorists using it.
1 Corinthians 12:17 "If the whole body were an eye, where would be the sense of hearing? If the whole body were an ear, where would be the sense of smell?"
It is absolutely vital to do what God called us to do and to give our all so that God can receive the glory!  We are simply vessels, instruments in God's Kingdom!  Don't be ignorant of the person's calling next to you... we all need one another to accomplish what God called us to do.
