Poems

Life’s  Painting

This image I’ve learned to love
Was pitchblack and motionless
Framed by Your love, grace and majesty
I titled it life and lived by this tragedy

I found it rather strange
That You would decorate this page
Yet never stepped forward to give my opinion
On what I thought was Your proposition

Truthfull as You are
You opened my heart
Rolled up my blindes
And brilliance came to mind

Now this image I willingly love
Is one of colour, hope and life
Framed by Your eternity

The painting’s back flourishes on negativity
