A Prayer to Countrymen

As humans we know this as logic; that problems needs solving and running away from them, never helps.  The funny thing is when it comes to problems in our own counties... we rather move to a different place than to stand up for it.  When last did you go on your knees and prayed for your country?

In the Bible we read about Esther.  Her countrymen was in grave danger.  Now keep in mind that the law stated the following.... that if a person should enter the court of the King without being called for, he or she was to be put to death.  Unless this unsuspected visitor found favor with the king, in which case their lives are spared and they may speak up.   Esther realized that she had to speak to the king and notify him of the trouble that her people is facing.  Despite the danger Esther entered the king's courts without being called.
Esther 5:2 "And when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, she won favor in his sight, and he held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hand. Then Esther approached and touched the tip of the scepter."
By God's grace, Esther found favor in the eyes of the king and so she spoke up and the king helped her to save the Jews from a terrible end.  Don't you think it is time to also stand up for what we believe in?  We se eager;y say that the only one that are able to save our country is God yet we never live out this belief.  How about we start doing so.
1 Timothy 2:1-3 "First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior"
Our responsibility as Christians, is to pray for those in authority.  We have the what is needed to save our countries wherever you may be in the world.   What needs to happen is we need to take a stand for what we believe.  Let's go all out for God in the countries and nationalities He has placed  us.
